IBM PC 5150

The IBM PC was introduced in August of 1981.

For a time I worked as a hardware technician on IBM PS/2 systems. The IBM PC had been out for many years, but occasionally one of the newer models would require service or upgrades.

This system is a dual 5.25 floppy 5150 with a 64k - 256k system board.

After locating a version of DOS on 5.25” floppy and changing the switch settings to use the color display adapter, I was able to get it to boot DOS 3.2.
